Welcome to the Pupil Premium section of the Riverbank Academy website.
At Riverbank Academy, we are deeply committed to ensuring every student, regardless of their background or circumstance, can thrive and achieve their full potential.
We understand that our pupils, who all have complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), often face additional barriers to learning due to socio-economic disadvantage. The Pupil Premium funding we receive is therefore a vital resource used to mitigate these challenges and ensure equity.
Our Commitment
• Holistic Support: Our strategy is designed to provide individualised support that addresses the academic, social, emotional, and communication needs of our disadvantaged pupils.
• Targeted Investment: We use this funding strategically to invest in specialist staff, high-quality resources, and targeted interventions that are proven to have the greatest impact on progress for our cohort.
• Preparation for Adulthood: Our ultimate goal is to equip all disadvantaged pupils with the skills and confidence necessary for successful independence, employment, and meaningful participation in their community.
The following statement details our spending plans for this academic year, the barriers we are working to overcome, and the positive outcomes achieved last year.
