The Little Riverbank Café is run by Post 16 students, with limited support from staff. The cafe is open to staff in Riverbank and Ernesford Grange Academies, where the students prepare and serve hot drinks and food.
The parents coffee morning is held in the café every other Thursday morning 10am-11am, Post 16 students prepare and serve refreshments to the parents and also provide our catering for visitors to the school.
The students are trained in aspects of food hygiene and food safety, prior to working in the café and peer support and training is given to students new to the café.
The café allows the students practice their money skills as well as building their confidence and self-esteem. Please come along and support us by using the café.
